Crafted by his right foot, each brushstroke serves as an intimate expression of Edward Kwiatkowski's entire being, grounding him in a profound sense of vitality. AIRSpace Gallery is honored to present the inaugural exhibition, 'Beyond Boundaries,' featuring a curated selection of artworks spanning 62 years by Edward Kwiatkowski—an artist born with Cerebral Palsy.
Despite limited physical mobility, Eddie (Edward Kwiatkowski) embraced art as a way of life, leaving us with an extensive body of over 1600 artworks. This diverse body of work includes paintings, drawings, charcoals, and mixed media pieces meticulously rendered on unconventional canvases such as roof slate, wood blocks, and styrofoam.
The show guides us through his perspective on color, autobiography, and his artistic spirit. 'Beyond Boundaries' challenges established norms in the art world and explores the alternative meaning of art-making in our frenetic and isolated society. It unfolds a narrative of possibility, paving a trail for others to follow.
